In the name of God, The Compassionate, the Merciful

The ceremony of "the happiest wall" on the occasion Imam Ali's birthday

Part 1:

A small model of the Kaaba House is displayed to children as a symbol of real Kaaba. The person who is about to speak as the house of Kaaba is singing the following rhymes:

The main actor enters the scene and claps in harmony with the rhyme being sung and persuades the children to clap and in the same time looks around searching for the source of the voice and implies with gestures that where does the sound come from. Then he whispers the following rhymes:

(Rhymes):

تو جان جانی؛ علی، چه مهربانی؛ علی، تو جانشین خورشید در آسمانی؛ علی.

Oh Ali! You are the dearest dear; you are very kind; and you are like the sun in the sky.

تو اولینی؛ علی، تو بهترینی؛ علی، همیشه می درخشی، مثل نگینی؛ علی(2).

(Oh Ali! You are the first in everything; and you shine like a jewel. (2

تو پاک و با صفایی، تو هدیه ی خدایی، تو را صدا می کنیم که آشنای مایی.

You are pure and clear! You are a gift from god and we call your name because you are our friend.

تو سروری، تو رهبری، از همه عالم سری، فقط تویی فقط تو، که جان پیغمبری.

You are the master and leader. You are better than the whole world and it is only you who is the soul of the Prophet.

علی علی جان ماست. قله ایمان ماست، ما همه خاکییم او مژده باران ماست(2).

Ali is our dear. He is the summit of our faith. We are like soil and he is the promise of rain. (2)

When the rhyme finishes the Kaaba says: what a great day it was!

Then the main actor comes near the Kaaba slowly and faces the children and says: I think the voice comes from here; then faces the Kaaba and says: are you speaking ?

Kaaba: Of course it was me; it was me myself. Is there anyone else here beside you and me ?

Main actor: well, why were you singing such a beautiful rhyme?

Kaaba: Why not? It is the birthplace of Imam Ali [PBUH]

Main actor (facing the children): He is right it is a celebration day!

پنجره رو وا کنید خورشید رو پیدا کنید،اب بپاشید تو ایوون گل بکارید تو گلدون عیداومده بچه ها باشه مبارکه شما .

(Rhymes) open the windows and find the sun, pour water on the balcony, plant flowers in flower pots! It is a celebration day! Happy this celebration day to you!

I almost forgot to say hello to children. Hi everybody! How are you doing? Happy this celebration day to you. Welcome! Welcome! We are gathered here to celebrate the birthday of our kind master, the best father in the world Imam Ali [PBUH]. We are going to sing so many rhymes and play so many games. By the way, do you like stories? I am going to ask Kaaba to tell us a story.

Main actor (facing the Kaaba): Please tell us the story of the birth of our master Imam Ali [PBUH]!

Kaaba: Of course! Why not?

On that day I was watching the people who came next to me for praying, when suddenly I noticed a lady! She came near to me and started to speak and pray to god. She was saying: Oh my god! Please help me to deliver this child safely, when suddenly the back wall split by the order of the god almighty and Fatima bint Assad, who was the mother of Imam Ali [PBUH] entered the house of Kaaba. All of the people sitting there was amazed. They brought the key of the Kaaba to open the doors and to see what is going inside the house but despite all their efforts the door of Kaaba didn’t open.

Main actor (excited): Wow! How interesting! The story has come to the exciting part! I want to hear the rest of the story! But my dear Kaaba, you take a rest while I and the children play a game and return. Agreed?

Kaaba: agreed! Why not?

The game and the contest of the first part (solving a puzzle by children and their mothers)

Instructions of the game: A puzzle has been designed in the shape of Kaaba and a flower, which is given to the children to complete it. Of course they can take hints from their mothers.

The main actor and his assistant whisper the following rhymes:

(Rhymes) Be an assistant to Imam Ali! [PBUH] be bright and hardworking!

Imam Ali [PBUH] is victorious! He is the champion of all times!

Part 2:

When the children are finished playing, the main actor faces the Kaaba and says: Oh my dear Kaaba! Please tell us the rest of the story.

Kaaba: Of course I will! Why not?

When Fatima bint Assad entered the Kaaba, she remained there for three days. The god almighty hosted this honorable lady in his house so that she deliver her child and during these few days, the angels brought her fruits and foods from paradise and it was a sign of the greatness and honor of Imam Ali [PBUH].

Main actor: How beloved is Imam Ali [PBUH] to god! Dear Kaaba let us play another game with the children and return.

Kaaba: OK! I am waiting.

Game and contest of part 2 (Completing the photo of their fathers by children and their mothers, separately)

Instructions of the game: Two teams are chosen and the photo of every father is split in two and stuck on an A4 paper. Then every children and their mothers are asked to draw the missing half of the father’s photo, symmetrical to the other half.

In this part the main actor and his assistant whisper the following rhymes:

(Rhymes) My good and dear father!

My kind and gracious father!

You are a gift from god.

You are kind and trustable.

May god protect you,

When you leave home for your job.

The bright and pure Quran,

Has spoken of you to me,

Open your arms for me.

I well listen to your words.

May you live a long life!

May you be happy and long-lived!

Part 3

Main actor (excited): Very well my dear Kaaba! You were telling the story.

Kaaba: Anyway, when four days passed, the same wall split again by the order of the god almighty and Fatima bint Assad came out carrying a newborn child in her arms. When she was leaving the Kaaba she heard a voice calling her: Name your child “Ali” [PBUH]. After all these years at the same day in the year, 13^th of Rajab, the same wall is split again, but bad people who are enemy to the god almighty and Imam Ali [PBUH] try to hide the trace of split. That wall is always happy and says I am the happiest wall in the world.

Game and contest of part 3 (the following rhyme is sung for the children and children perform requested actions in every part)

Instructions:

قشنگترین شعرو سرود توی دنیا

It is the most beautiful rhyme and song in the whole world.

اشهد ان علیا ولی الله

I testify that Imam Ali [PBUH] is our guardian chosen by god.

بیدار شو از خواب نازنین که صبح شده باز(خمیازه می کنند،چشمانشان را می مالند و خودشان را کش می آورند)

Wake up from sweet sleep, the morning has arrived again

(They yawn, rub their eyes and stretch their bodies)

اشهد ان علیا ولی الله

I testify that Imam Ali [PBUH] is our guardian chosen by god.

خروس می خونه دوباره کوچولوی ناز(دست هایشان را به حالت بال زدن تکان می دهند)

The rooster is signing again my sweet little child.

(They shake their hands like a flying bird)

اشهد ان علیا ولی الله

I testify that Imam Ali [PBUH] is our guardian chosen by god.

ببین مؤذن دوباره اذان می گه باز(دستشان را روی گوششان به حالت اذان گفتن می گذارند)

Behold the Muezzin is singing Azhan again

(They put their hands on the ears like singing azhan)

اشهد ان علیا ولی الله

I testify that Imam Ali [PBUH] is our guardian chosen by god.

گوش کن می گن شیعه ها توی کل دنیا(با شادی بالا و پایین می پرند)

Hear that all Shiates from across the world are saying:

(They jump up and down in happiness)

اشهد ان علیا ولی الله

I testify that Imam Ali [PBUH] is our guardian chosen by god.
